Three new HP smutlets

Wrote one of these at the allergist and the other two while waiting for my daughter to finish her ballet class (which is the sort of thing that makes me feel I'm living a thrilling double life).

Surviving for [livejournal.com profile] teneagles, who asked for "postwar Harry/Ron schmorn." (And isn't 'schmorn' just a delicious word?)

Tidal for [livejournal.com profile] lada_hitam, who asked for Harry/Snape, though it may not be the sort of Harry/Snape she likes.

Plummet for [livejournal.com profile] maryavatar, who asked for Harry/Snape, "plummet." (Her challenge was just too good not to use it for a title.)

Got a doctor's appointment tomorrow and a ballet class every week, so I'm still welcoming challenges for these!

Edited to add the usual: If you want to see links to all the smutlets on one page, go to the story notes here.

Oh, I really enjoyed the Harry/Ron very much.

(And for challenges -- Fraser/Kowalski, "expected", or Harry/Ron/Hermione, "puzzle.")

I'd completely forotten about that. Thank you. It even has bottom!Snape, my very favourite Snarry flavour.

Oh, guh. 'schmorn' is definitely a delicious word. :D

Oh I absolutely adored the Harry/Ron to pieces! I am never disappointed when I click on one of your links; everything is always so beautiful in tone and pace and it always, always hits the spot.

As for a challenge...Harry/Ron/Hermione - teaching an old dog(s) new tricks.

[identity profile] estrella30.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 12:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm. RayK/Fraser: Disobedience.

*g*

[identity profile] skuf.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 12:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Challenge: fandom needs more small-cock!Harry, please :o)
(because small-cock!Harry is canon - quote Rowling: "I see Harry as someone who has great skin. That's the one thing he's got going for him" :oP )

[identity profile] shocolate.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 12:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh the Harry/Ron is just perfect!

Yum

[identity profile] julia-fractal.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 12:56 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow, three of your smutlets all at once makes me a very, very happy girl!

"Tidal" is my personal favourite, it's so beautifully intense! And "Tidal" and "Plummet" go so well together. I also love Harry/Ron, and the perfect balance of tender love and post-war trauma.

Thank you so much for writing these!

[identity profile] kassrachel.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 12:59 pm (UTC)(link)
And Snape, who disdains tender words, says Yes and Yes and Yes.

I throw flowers at you.

To tell someone -- to tell a Potter -- what he craved.

And now I throw even more flowers.

All three are lovely, naturally, but for some reason the Harry/Snape ones are really getting to me today. (My Rickman fixation has been high lately -- I spent a shameful few hours the other night reading post-Sense & Sensibility novellas...)

[identity profile] lazy-daze.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 01:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmm, those smutlets were just gorgeous <3

And now for the short feedback:

[identity profile] skuf.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Surviving
Loved this - but what's not to love in Best!Friend Harry/Ron? Particularly was moved by this line: where a son died and an orphan was born - beautiful. (We shall disregard the seconds when I was going "uh, is James the son, then?")

Plummet
the movement sent Harry's fingers sliding slickly across his hole, - they're called "smutlets" for a reason, huh! Nice line. Was a bit scared reading this one because I feared you were going to go with twisty Evil!Harry ending :o)

[identity profile] nestra.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 03:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Those are all lovely, as always, but your Snape POV really grabbed me today. It's so unique and so true.

[identity profile] celandineb.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Wow - they were all great. Not that I'd expect otherwise. ;-) I think "Plummet" was my favorite - fear and its conquest. Though "Surviving" really captured a lot of past and present emotions in a short space.

Had to look back a ways to find out what kind of challenge you wanted - "a pairing and an attitude/emotion/abstract noun of some sort." Okay... I'll try to think of something unusual.

Hermione/Neville/Ginny, muddle

[identity profile] byandby.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 04:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Excellent smutlets. Truly wonderful.

To be pounded out of his mind, fucked into a state of perfect wordlessness, freed from the continual tyranny of speech. So get on with it, if you please.

Guh.

[identity profile] teneagles.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 06:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, perfection. Excuse me while I fanboy spastically in your direction. *Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*

Man does not live by schmorn alone, but I'm trying, I'm trying.

[identity profile] zebra363.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I love the Harry/Ron (I still don't read in HP other than your Harry/Ron!)

Harry remembers, fifth year, looking at Ron in the changing room and wondering if he'd ever live to have a man's body.

I like thinking of them as adults, looking back at growing up together, with half a lifetime of friendship and loyalty between them.

When you weren't sure whether I was dead or alive, when your own life hinged on how quickly you escaped, you didn't leave me behind.

[identity profile] schuyler.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 10:08 pm (UTC)(link)
I read these all at work (which may have been a mistake) and after Surviving, which I had saved for last, I sat quietly for a moment and smiled. Thank you.

[identity profile] switchknife.livejournal.com 2004-09-23 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, the schmorn is lovely. Heartache and hope all at once. (And so deliciously tactile, too...)

Still looking for challenges, eh? How 'bout some Draco/Neville? ;)

[identity profile] icarusancalion.livejournal.com 2004-09-24 12:23 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you're Harry/Ron is powerful, and silently passionate. I find I believe it.

How about...

Percy/Harry, Incredulous.

Yay, thank you very much for the smutlet! It's perfect! It's exactly like I want. The exclusiveness of Snape and Harry and the fact that even when Harry could find lovers by the dozen to exclaim over him, pamper him and spoil him, he keeps coming back to the snapping fury of Snape's bludger-black eyes, the cold disdain of his voice is my dreams come true. I love the way you make them like they're boen just for each other :)

Btw, I've been trying to send you the scanlations, but don't know why I couldn't attach the files. Now I try to separate the files into little zips, I just hope it could work.

Thank you again for the smutlets =)

Sorry to reach you by this, but I want to tell you that 2 mails that I've sent to resonant8@att.net are failed to be delivered since your mailbox is full. Do you have other email address so I can send the scanlations?

Thanks.

I can never get enough of your Snarry. I hope you gift us with many more in the future.

'Surviving' was gorgeously written. There was so much implied within such a short space and the bond between them seemed to glow in amongst the darkness. Lovely.

(Oh, and the reason I haven't commented on the other two is that I tend not to read Snarry)

Oh, the Harry/Ron! You put so much into this little story, not a word is wasted.

A son has parents, which he suddenly did not; ergo, the son died, and was reborn as an orphan.

Heartbreaking.
