And also old Due South stories

I think there’s a high likelihood that the kidlet has the virus. Symptoms so far: a day of fatigue and lightheadedness (the not-thinking-clearly kind, not the dizzy kind) followed by a day of mild muscle cramps.

They’re young and healthy, and I know most people who have it have pretty mild symptoms, but one frets, you know, when it’s one’s kidlet.

Also, of course, we’re sharing a small apartment, going around *touching* stuff, so the likelihood of me getting it just — i guess it didn’t increase, exactly, since it’s hard to increase from a baseline of “nearly inevitable,” but — became more real to me. I’m 55 (until Friday) and have hypertension (well controlled with drugs) so my risk of serious complications isn’t high but it’s nonzero.

I’m treating the inevitable fretting by rereading a lot of old Due South fic. Boy, that was some good stuff. Milk and honey.

Hoping all the best hopes for you and Kidlet. I may have had it in March -- allergy season hit me like a truck when it isn't normally that bad, but we won't know until/unless I get an antibody test.

Wallowing in comfort fic has comprised at least 90% of my 2020 so far. Thank everything for fandom! <3
