I hope tracking provides you with answers. I saw a new doctor for an ongoing issue about a month ago and without even asking me if i could she told me to do this restricted diet and see if it helps things.
Long story short, I wrote her back the next day and explained that restricting what I eat comes at the expense of my mental health and I'm not willing to make that tradeoff. So I'm trying to track it instead, but haven't been doing well at it, because it sucks. (Very long backstory involving gastric bypass; let's just say I've gotten far too obsessed with tracking and weight in the past.)
