Talk about phenomenal timing! It's been a feckin' long day, and all I wanted was to come home and fling myself into bed with some comfort reading -- and this, oh man, this was just perfect. I can't tell you how many times I snorfled out loud at Rodney lines, including this one--

it left him turned on and pissed off at the same time, giving masturbation the character of angry fight sex.

Ah, I just love how Rodney's ego is the size of the universe -- but not without some accompanying benefits, like a weird sort of open-mindedness (that sort of: I'm so fantastic that everyone loves me, and why would I be cruel and deny them the opportunity even if they're male/female/alien?).

That's it exactly. The people who make everyone miserable are people who suspect they might not be superior. As long as they're confident, they're fine.

Oh, it's definitely happened to me, though I don't think it's an issue of "the hell with what she wants; I'm going to do this because it feels good." I gather that men's bodies respond to rough handling a lot better than women's do. They're just trying to do what they'd like.
