In my head, he was gay but seriously did not know it himself. He has no idea why he's so strongly attracted to the female Rodney, and no idea why he almost immediately finds himself fantasizing about the male one. He never sees it coming.

Yes, that's where I came down on in the end...like, he seems almost surprised by his own intense responses to both Rodneys...cool :)
