If I were ...
From
tradescant, the "If I Were" thing.
This was odd and interesting to do. I went through it once and answered as fast as I could, without giving myself any time to think. Then I went through again and went: Huh? Where did that come from? A hinge? Nitrogen?

If I were an animal, I would be: a bookstore cat.
If I were a color, I would be: gray-green.
If I were an emotion, I would be: annoyance.
If I were a vegetable, I would be: zucchini.
If I were a sound, I would be: wind.
If I were an element, I would be: nitrogen.
If I were a car, I would be: a Saturn in a really stodgy color.
If I were a song, I would be: A medley of variations on an I Saw Three Ships/Greensleeves theme, played on Renaissance instruments.
If I were a movie, I would be: Some sort of documentary, maybe.
If I were a food, I would be: pasta with zucchini.

If I were a month, I would be: October.
If I were a day of the week, I would be: Thursday.
If I were a time of day,I would be: late morning.
If I were a direction, I would be: west.
If I were a piece of furniture, I would be: a big cushy chair.
If I were a sin,I would be: sloth.
If I were a historical figure, I would be: some woman in a nunnery whose diary eventually becomes a source of information on How They Lived Then.
If I were a liquid, I would be: seawater.
If I were a method of death, I would be: suffocation.
And might I add that if I were a psychologist, I'd find this all very interesting.
