It is probably a sign that I've been made to watch Ratatouille waaaaaaaaaaay too many times that I can pretty much hear the whole thing in the back of my head.

(If Pixar's the afterlife, I get to move back to Point Richmond when I die. Which sounds pretty good, really.)

I, too, have a child and a copy of the Ratatouille DVD. I'll tell you, sometimes smut is the only way to make a kid's media enthusiasms bearable.

On the other hand, if I could choose a kids' movie afterlife, I'd want to go live with Lilo and Stitch. Sleeping right between Nani and David.

*snerk* Now you've got me thinking about how I could make "Clifford the Big Red Dog" smutty (look, it's a Friday night, and I'm a tall glass into my bottle of vino), and there's NO GOOD THERE. "Sid the Science Kid," maybe. *GRIN*

I used to work right around the corner from the old Pixar studios, when I was consulting; finding bits of our town in the movies was a real joy. Those were good years (I would never have left if we hadn't had kids -- I loved that job). I would be perfectly happy to spend the afterlife back in my office right nearby the Monsters Inc. HQ....
