... and yes, I'm serious about that crossover. This is for the [livejournal.com profile] cliche_bingo square "Unmixy things: weird crossovers."

Appetite
Snape (sort of; it's complicated)/Horst -- NC-17 -- 2,700 words
Snape's happy ending requires him to start again in another story.
Warnings, if any (highlight to read): Um, cartoon characters having sex? No particular warning.

LOVE. (I admit my first thought was to wonder why he's eating creme brulee with a fork. But that this thought did not last long, because even without knowing Ratatouille at all, I adored the whole thing. [g])

Ahahahahaha. I mean, beautifully done. But explicit sex with those two characters! *brainbendy* .... Awesome. I think you just joined the ranks of Pixar slashers. There are four of us that I am aware of - welcome to the small, dirty club.

Oh that's... that's. Yeah.

It is indeed an unmixy thing, and I think only you could have made it into such a sweet story with such tart characters.

Lovely!

My, yes, that's...a weird crossover. *blinks*

It is probably a sign that I've been made to watch Ratatouille waaaaaaaaaaay too many times that I can pretty much hear the whole thing in the back of my head.

(If Pixar's the afterlife, I get to move back to Point Richmond when I die. Which sounds pretty good, really.)

I have never felt this mushy and affectionate about a Snape story before! Like someone else said, what a sweet story for such tart characters.

Just exquisite! What an ironically apt next life for Snape!

I've never seen Ratatouille, but I did see stills of Anton Ego and immediately thought of Snape, so this was a pure delight to read!

This is kind of perfect! They are similar characters, aren't they? I'm happy for him.

He knew he'd been reborn into a different world. For one thing, there was no magic. For another, he was in France and no one was smoking. :)

And that his first thought would be to try it out on a rat. And Colette as a born Slytherin.

OH GOD SO GOOD.

Man.

See, this is the perfect example of the Res Phenomenon: that thing where one reads anything a given writer writes because it is 127% guarandamnteed to be worth the reading, whether one knows the canons or not.

(As it happens, and for what it's worth, I am reasonably familiar with HP canon and not [yet] familiar at all with Ratatouille. I plan to remedy this. But see, that's the thing: with what you write, the way you write it? it doesn't matter, because it is STILL funny and hot and striking right the fuck home when one least expects it.)

Ahaha, I love it! And Snape's craving for shitty English food -- in the face of exquisite French food -- makes me laugh, because I've never been a fan of French food.

I always love the way your Snape is disdainful but not really cruel -- and certainly not without feelings.
