I got the best friends in explored space.

So far I've taken about three hundred books to help rebuild the school library after the fire. I don't know how many people have sent gift certificates directly to Mrs. M., but the librarian knows me by name now.

The offer I made in the original post still stands: anyone who wants to donate can give me a pairing and ask me a question, and I'll write them something little, or maybe not so little.

Oh, man, this is lovely. The list format, of course, which I'm starting to suspect is one of my secret kinks or something. And the way the story goes from poignant and painful (all that living flesh, it almost seems obscene) to brain-meltingly hot, and then for a bonus does both of them at the same time. In 500 words. Wow.

Oh wow. It's fanworks like this that reminds me why I love John and Rodney together. I love how you can say so much using so few words.

They're great, aren't they? Rodney's the last person you'd expect to save anyone's wounded heart, and yet I continue to believe that he's just the right person for John's.

I really like this. I think the first one's my favorite, even, because it's SO compact and so effective. Although I also love John and his casual dismissal (or casual indifference to?) of, like, tantric or anything. HEE.
