In case anyone wants the Official Soundtrack Song for Interface, here it is: Pink Floyd, "Wish You Were Here." Because I, too, am not above cheap symbolism, and because I still love the song.

Also, does anyone have a version of the Cure's "Love Song" which is neither a remix nor a live version?

I think I have that song, but it's at home, and I imagine you'll get it long before I make it back. If not, let me know, and I'll send it tonight. :)

Good songs, both! Though, I'll probably never get over Wish You Were Here, whereas Love Song is a repeat fling.

Here ya go. (http://www.christinadigs.com/media/Cure, The - Love Song.mp3)

Feel free to link other people there, if that was your ultimate goal. I can handle the bandwidth.

Oh, bless your heart.

No, I only wanted it for myself -- there are three versions on iTunes, but none of them are the version that I want. I love the way they can make being in love sound like a terrible fate which you can bear but only with great courage. So maybe it is relevant to the story after all.

Thanks -- got two versions of it in, like, fifteen seconds, but thanks for the offer!

And, er, hi. I hope you don't mind my friending you; I love your stories. I really liked Interface, by the way, the images you chose to represent both their minds, the contrasts. That all the rooms in Rodney's mind have open doors, while everything in John's is locked away, in layers. And this image: three flashes of shock like lightning. And the fact that the eventual sex takes place in Rodney's bed in John's mind...I love that so much.

They released a greatest hits album a few years back on two discs. Disc one was the album version of the songs, disc two was everything acoustic. If you want anything else from the album, just let me know *G*.

Oops, sorry, didn't realise you already had the song. Um...have a song's that sort-of relates to Interface but only in the depressing way instead? Bruce Springstein, 'Secret Garden':

Wow, yeah, that would be cool! If you've got Just Like Heaven, Lovecats, or Let's Go To Bed, I'd love to have them.

Thanks! And I'm so glad you liked Interface.

I think actually that what makes John put them in Rodney's bed is that Rodney used the word "safe."

And hi, and welcome!
