In case anyone wants the Official Soundtrack Song for Interface, here it is: Pink Floyd, "Wish You Were Here." Because I, too, am not above cheap symbolism, and because I still love the song.
Also, does anyone have a version of the Cure's "Love Song" which is neither a remix nor a live version?

I love the way they can make being in love sound like a terrible fate which you can bear but only with great courage. So maybe it is relevant to the story after all.

And, er, hi. I hope you don't mind my friending you; I love your stories. I really liked Interface, by the way, the images you chose to represent both their minds, the contrasts. That all the rooms in Rodney's mind have open doors, while everything in John's is locked away, in layers. And this image: three flashes of shock like lightning. And the fact that the eventual sex takes place in Rodney's bed in John's mind...I love that so much.

And hi, and welcome!
