I grabbed a couple :)
I confess it's the first I've heard "Les Anges dans nos campagnes" done that way : it's refreshing :)

Thank you.

If you're interested, I've uploaded some "Québecois" Xmas music last week... (you can find the link in my lj, last week, or I can post it again, if you wish).

I found the Drummer Boy song and am downloading it now, but I didn't see any other music. (Your journal is tricky for a monolingual American!) Can you link to the posts? Thanks.

I love the Bruce Cockburn "Anges" -- it makes me want to dance.

Not much Xmas music in it either :( Mostly ballad and old songs from the 60s and 70s.

THANK YOU!

I lost all my music files when my hard drive crashed this summer and my Christmas music was one of my greatest losses.

I grabbed these last year and really love them. We'll have them playing as part of our mix while we put up the tree tomorrow. Thank you!

If you're interested, I posted some holiday music from Canadian artist Jane Siberry the other day. They're live recordings of some rare and traditional carols and include an amazing version of O Holy Night. Get them here (http://waterbird.livejournal.com/33126.html).

Ooh! I didn't have you friended a year ago... thank you very much! I seldom listen to Christmas albums because they're too much the same, but this is a lovely variety.

Thanks so much! I grabbed them all. I haven't had time to give them the comprehensive listen that you always have to give Jane Siberry, but the brief attention I did give them reminded me what a sweet voice Jane has; sometimes I forget that. I'll look forward to getting to know them better.

I really hope you liked them. I love Jane; her music always takes me back to my last couple of years of high school and the doomed-to-fail relationship with the guy who introduced me to her music. Which is not as bad a thing as it may sound. :)

Hope you had a lovely holiday.
