December Daily: crossovers

Only two: Interdepartmental Cooperation, a gen story in which Fraser and Ray encounter Chrestomanci (it's been so long since I read the books that I only vaguely remember the canon underpinnings) and Appetite, a thoroughly non-gen story in which Snape dies in the Shrieking Shack and wakes up in the cast of the movie Ratatouille.

I enjoyed writing both of them, but I think maybe crossovers work better for me in gen stories, where they don't seem to be drawing attention away from the relationship.

In my bookmarks I have two beloved gen crossovers, melannen's Rivers of Ankh-Morpork (Rivers of London/Discworld) and st_aurafina's Very Special Guest Star (Muppets/Indiana Jones).
