I HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT AVENGERS A LOT LATELY, and I came to the conclusion that it is very weird for them to all be living in some kind of superhero commune, and I was like, "I should do a story about that". And now I don't have to, because you did! And it's awesome! And I'm commenting here because I don't have an AO3 login.

But yes. It is awesome and so are you, and I love that you did "Five Things" but all as one scene for the This Is A Bad Idea section. That's a new twist on the structure I haven't seen before.

I do think it makes for great fanfic fodder, all of them sharing space. I'm currently on about the fourth iteration of "Steve Rogers Discovers The 21st Century" and there's an entire bit about the Avengers Communal Refrigerator, and how the "one shelf for everyone" rule did not work because everyone knows food tastes better if you steal it.

And another bit about how Thor's the only one of them who gets regular sex, and when he does, NOBODY is unaware of it.

Tony would design a line of tupperware that keeps stuff cold ALL ON ITS OWN, except tupperware gives him the creeps.

I've heard it's pretty easy to get an AO3 account, but I don't really use it that often. I've not considered getting one to leave feedback before...everyone who's recc'd it has been on me to put my fic there, and I like my fic where it is. HM, must consider.

I like archives in terms of stats and such, but I got really tired of them because after a while I would post to LJ and then have to go post to like, five goddamn archives. I felt like my work was really scattered.

And no way in HELL am I moving all my shit again. But I suppose I could post the new stuff there. Still a pain to post to two different places (when I already post one place and post links in two others) but it's true that AO3 has become a single source where one can usually find most fanfic written in some of the smaller fandoms.
