... or, And That Was Where I Stopped Reading.

"I do not have a beta; therefore, you may notice some descrepencies. My main flaw is keeping the same tense throughout the story (past vs. present) as well as character and plot development, sometimes story continuity."

Rating: I'm gonna go wif R? mild NC-17 at most

Genre: ... ... uh ... u decide ... I am so not a categorist *nods* but it IS a songfic and theres a lil fluff in it ;) and possibly a PWP

The only major departure from canon in this particular universe is that Lucius Malfoy is *not* a Death Eater and he and his family have no connections to Lord Voldemort.

-----

And I've been told this is a bit to cute for some people so....do keep that in mind.

-----

And yes, I know that no one in [time and place] would have been okay with homosexuality. It's just a story, people.

-----

Little does he know that his entire world is about to change. Or something. I suck at summaries, sorry. Just go ahead and read!

-----

This is my first foray into this fandom, so be warned. Fanon stereotypes about characters are rampant, and I’m taking liberties with canon.

-----

Hi. Am usually quiet, but have fic that wrote that am quite proud of. Is a Weasley twin. I think it's George. Might not be, though, since I don't usually write them and I can't always tell them apart.

-----

Answers to some of the FAQ from my betas--

1.) Yes, I know the Prologue is really weird and really depressing, but necessary -- don't worry -- it's the only piece like it in the whole story -- just keep slogging along, it gets better -- promise -- there's even some humour.

2.) Yes, I know some parts are highly melodramatic.  That's why they call it "literary license".

-----

Stupid melodramatic story. But I liked it like 5 minutes ago when I wrote it. So.

-----

I am well aware that this may not be popular. My characterization rarely is. I don't think I care.

But other than that, we should be speeding right along.

I think that's my ass. Or it might be a hole in the ground. I can't always tell them apart.

I think this person should write Memento fan fiction, because then all of her main flaws could easily turn a story into a brilliant piece told by an unreliable narrator!

Won't help the spelling, but... unreliable narrator with brain damage!

See? Perfect fit.

It didn't. Get better, that is.

I dunno, but my fic is :) Res once beta'd for me and noticed that I kept making references to budgies. Idk if this has anything to do with it, but at least MY fandom had a lot of budgies in it!

Speranza's deeply hysterical due South story Juggling Act (http://www.trickster.org/speranza/Juggling.html). Run, do not walk, to read it.

I remember seeing a fic on some HP Snapelist whose author asked that we be gentle with her because she hadn't seen the movies nor read book canon, and she thought there were some continuity issues and she didn't have a beta, but that if we gave her a chance, she was sure we'd all like it.

To which I just shuddered in horror and clicked the Next button.

A reference to a Due South fic called "Juggling Act" by Speranza which features, among the rest, a wanking budgie. I can;t be bothered to find the exact URL, but it should be somewhere around here:
www.trickster.org/speranza

O'course, I might be completely wrong. *shrug* Eh, well.
