Am I just imagining that someone wrote a Fraser/Vecchio story that made use of the similarity between "Benny" and "veni"? I could swear I'd read that story someplace. I even have it in my head that the title is "Veni."

If no one did, someone really should.

Okay, veering wildly off topic here, Res.... A ways back (in the DVD commentary for Transfig) you mentioned you've worked out a list of who in the HP universe has to die, based on classic farie tale logic.

Now that the sixth book is upon us...and JK has affirmed that yes, at least one other character will die....care to put your list where your mouth is?

earthmoon, who's trying to decide whether to order the Canadian edition (cause its the UK language edition) and have it arrive a day or two later, or order the US edition (like the chapter illustrataions) and have it in her hot grubbly little hands as soon as humanly possible!

I couldn't find that one, although I did find one that made a "benison"/"Benton"/"venison" pun-type thing. (AUKestrel's "Sweetness Follows", part of "Near Wild Heaven".)
