Beautiful use of language, as always. Never too florid, or flabbily lyrical. Lovely.

Me either! It's weird how this one just leapt on me and demanded to be written.
I'm afraid it's scaring people off. I'm tempted to add a disclaimer: "You don't have to watch anybody get flayed or anything! Author is a fuzzy bunny! Really!"

I have boychoir Christmas carols in my car CD at the moment, and I was driving around during the editing process thinking about this icy story and listening to the little British boy sopranos, and they seemed to go together in such a creepy way. I couldn't resist them. (Plus it's not one of my stories if it doesn't have some music in it, however gratuitous.)

Date: 11/19/02 03:11 pm (UTC)Well, I came by to thank you for filling out my fanfiction economics survey. So, thank you, but . . .
Oh! You're one of the few people who writes Snape/Draco. I keep searching and searching for it. (There's a good deal more as of this month; this time 4 weeks ago there were 9 fics, not counting a few at ff.net that were unreadable due to formatting.) I rather liked how Draco plays "gracious host." It was like "may I offer you my daughter," only better. **sigh**
Right. So. Thank you for filling out my survey. **grin**

I've seen some, but not a huge number, and most of them are telling that same story where Schoolboy Draco seduces Snape out of some sort of twisted relationship with his father.

[snickering] Makes you want to go drop by his quarters, huh? Maybe it's just me.
