OK, fine; I was shamelessly hinting for birthday porn and everybody demanded detail. So here's my porn wishlist.

You know, it would be cool if other people did this, and then put the link on their LJ profile. You never know when someone might be looking for hints on what kind of smut to give you.



Obviously I'm all about SGA at the moment. I love Rodney, John, Teyla, Ronon, and Zelenka, in any and all combinations. (I mean, I don't know how you're going to get Teyla and Zelenka together, but if you do, I want to read it.) Not much interested in sexing up anybody else on Atlantis, I don't think. I'll read Lorne/Parrish if there's nothing else available.

I don't watch SG-1 and am utterly ignorant of it, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying Jack and Daniel, with each other and/or with the SGA crew, or from wanting to pair Sam Carter with everyone in the known universe. If somebody could slash Sam with Teyla I'd be in paradise.

Of course I still love Due South: Fraser, RayK, and RayV in any combination and Frannie with anybody at all including Sam Carter.

I'm not reading a lot of Harry Potter these days, but you make me happy if you make Snape happy, or at least give him his preferred form of misery. Triosmut is also lovely.

I also occasionally read and enjoy Good Omens, House, Pirates of the Caribbean, Sports Night, Smallville ... Breakfast Club, what little there is of it ...

Kinks: talking (narration, demands, friendly dirty talk); grooming; displays of willingness to make sacrifices for love; sex before intimacy or extreme intimacy before sex; first times/new sensations; threesomes; postponement of orgasm, if it can be done without humiliation; the play of vulnerability and safety.

Squicks: torture; humiliation; cross-generation incest; non-consensual tickling; the word 'slut.'

My birthday is May 8. I celebrate Christmas. And you certainly wouldn't offend me if you gave me a gift on a non-Christian, non-American holiday such as International Smut Just Because Day.

Have almost entirely lost interest in anyone from SGA except for Zelenka. Still loving everything else on the list.

Am currently absolutely obsessed with BBC Sherlock (Sherlock, John, and Lestrade in most any configuration, Sarah if you can write her the way saathi1013 does). Also adore book-canon Holmes/Watson. Less enthusiastic about the 2009 movie, but still enjoy some stories in that fandom.

Will, however, read and enjoy characters I've never seen in fandoms I've never heard of. That's the way I've gotten ... um ... all my fandoms except Voyager, Discworld, and Hancock, actually.

Have you read any of the HP fic that celandineb is cowriting with cruisedirector? Harry/Draco/Snape. I don't know if watersports squick you, but there is a bit of that at the beginning of the series. I have lost count as to how many episodes they've written now. I'm enjoying the plot that is developing though:) And I think you'd particularly enjoy the last installment. I don't know that you need to have read any of the previous ones to enjoy it.

Oddly, watersports don't squick me as much as the Harry/Draco/Snape combination! (Watersports are mostly just a headscratcher for me.) But they're both reliable writers, so I'll give the series a try.

Delayed fulfillment is more my thing than, delayed orgasm (though the one can be a function of the other). First times yes. Talking yes, but dirty talk not so much. Reducing an articulate character to incoherence, or exploding an inarticulate character's reticence during sex, absolutely.

I'm up with your squicks, though I think I'm probably more vanilla in general than you are (probably to my loss re:good fic) I would add incest, and probably chan to your list.

Mmm. I like that.

Cross-generation incest is totally a squick, and I ought to add it to the list. Sibling incest is more just a headscratcher to me, in there with spanking and other things that I don't disapprove of but just don't get.

Chan walks a very fine line for me, because I'm wildly squicked by some underage and wildly kinked by others. I like the kinds of stories that liviapenn calls Blue Lagoon stories ("what are these strange new feelings?") But of course consent and affection and all the other surrounding things really have to be perfect, or the whole thing begins to stink of exploitation.

I was thinking of your penis-phobia the other day. And thinking about it made me realise that for me it is the opposite: I actually love that word. I have a strange fondness for it. To me, it is a little bit clinical but much more, it is a sort of tender word, it makes me think of something fragile and in need of protection. Also, I have discovered (now that I am writing and posting again, I am still amazed and whee about that) that I really enjoy writing clinical sex. I like the disjuncture between style and content. How you can smuggle in romantic moosh content, packaged in something very objective and rather formal. I think I am going to experiment with more of that against the graininess. I suppose the obverse would be to write an objective, formal scene in a baroque, run-on sentence, mooshy style -- except there are so few objective, formal scenes in slash! I must try and invent some.

For some reason, I am having so many plot bunnies for SGA, it is quite ridiculous. What a fandom! I do believe I first encountered it in your LJ! So I blame you entirely. ;-D

What is your opinion on RPF/RPS? I started reading stuff on potcrps; and the next thing you know, I was writing a couple of stories (one with nine chapters) shipping Johnny Depp with his own character. Not many people are doing that nowadays, so I've got myself a lonely little niche of sorts...

I don't have any ethical problem with RPF. What I've always said is that I just don't find real people as interesting as fictional people, and that this goes double for actors.

But when I think about what you've written here, I find that Johnny Depp is an exception to this, and that I'm interested in reading about him getting up to all sorts of mischief!
