giglet: I want an AU where the team are the noir detectives of the Pegasus Galaxy.
     terrio envisions Teyla in (male) noir-detective get-up and swoons
giglet: Oh, the fedora!
terrio: with the hat and all!
resonant8: oomg
terrio: yes!
terrio: exactly
kassrachel: So who's the dame with the legs up to here?
resonant8: John.



giglet: He's the homme fatale?
giglet: Does John have legs?
terrio: he slinks!
terrio: a lot
terrio: so there must be legs
resonant8: God, Teyla with her tie a little loose and her fedora down over one eye.
     resonant8 sighs
kassrachel: Guh.
cesperanza: john sheppard walks in
cesperanza: leans on the desk
cesperanza: and says, I've got a problem!
cesperanza: bats his eyes
cesperanza: tells some damselly story
giglet: Instead of smoking cigs, Rodney eats powerbars. Sexily.
resonant8: Rodney would be Teyla's contact at the newspaper or the morgue or what-have-you
resonant8: the one who says, "Are you crazy? It's a setup. He's setting you up, and you can't even see it. You always were a fool for a big-eyed boy."
giglet: Teyla, PI, with a license to carry sticks-of-hurtiness
kassrachel: bwee!
giglet: Art, art! Need art for this!
resonant8: I think Ronon's the missing spouse and/or business partner that John hires Teyla to find.
resonant8: Rodney thinks he's just split with the money.
resonant8: John thinks he's been kidnapped.
giglet: But what is he involved in?
resonant8: He, um ... took off to pursue revenge?
terrio: perfect!
terrio: Someone killed his fiancee!
giglet: There needs to be a doublecrosser in here someplace.
terrio: Cowen or Kolya, maybe
terrio: or Michael
terrio: Carson works in the morgue?
giglet: Carson would be good.
kassrachel: John's looking for Ronon who's gone awol to avenge his fiancee
giglet: It looks as though John set up Teyla at one point, but he just didn't know that she'd end up tangled up with these folks.
kassrachel: And Rodney tells Teyla not to trust John
resonant8: Mostly we see Rodney from behind a big old-fashioned camera
giglet: Can Rodney also be Q and make really cool weapons for Teyla? Which she mostly ignores in favor of sticks of hurtiness?
resonant8: yeah! he's got a lab.
giglet: Which he doesn't like to leave. It's *dangerous* out there!
resonant8: He's got a bit of a crush on Teyla, and she has no compunctions about using it to get him to do stuff for her, but she's relieved when he falls for John.
giglet: But of course, when it looks like Teyla's in peril, he does the faithful sidekick thing.
giglet: Oh, wait, is this a John/Rodney? I was kinda thinking lead up to an OT4.
resonant8: That could work.
resonant8: I was picturing Teyla getting a sort of a mental image of the missing man
resonant8: and then being shocked as hell when she sees the real thing.
     giglet grins
giglet: Ronon would shock anyone, I think.
kassrachel: It could start John/Rodney and then wind up OT4. That would be yummy.
giglet: So Rodney has sort of a crush on Teyla, and warns her against falling for John, but then *he* falls for John, and meanwhile John has a relationship with Ronon. But then Ronon and Teyla meet and are all hot.
kassrachel: And hijinks ensue.
     giglet nods happily
giglet: Hijinks!
giglet: John proves to be pretty useful with a gun. And Ronon proves to be pretty useful with everything else. And Teyla figures she could expand the agency...
terrio: I kinda like Ronon going looking for his fiancee's murderer, though
terrio: which doesn't work with John and him being involvod.
giglet: Well... he gets over it once he'd gotten revenge
resonant8: He just needs closure.
terrio: ah
giglet: oookay. Speaking of people's kinks...
resonant8: I totally own a kink of Teyla in menswear.
terrio: I think it would really suit her.
resonant8: And then maybe there could be a plot-related reason for her to dress to the nines, with a hat with a little veil, and stockings with seams up the back.
     kassrachel swoons
resonant8: and then strip out of it with great relief and put her button-down shirt back on.
giglet: Ooh, the stripping could be fun!
terrio: and nothing else
     kassrachel whistles
resonant8: *Gloves.*
kassrachel: Guh.
giglet: And adorable shoes.
kassrachel: Much later, Rodney turns red when he admits that he still has fantasies about the gloves -- kidskin, so soft
giglet: Rodney would wear a bowtie.
resonant8: And the guys would all have suspenders on.
resonant8: The button-on kind.
giglet: Oh, god, John in suspenders...
kassrachel: damn. Yeah.
resonant8: I see John dressing rich, and Rodney dressing ... like a journalist.
resonant8: And Ronon ... ?
giglet: Dressing like Ronon.
resonant8: "What is he, a knife-thrower?" says Rodney, and drops his pen, twice.
kassrachel: So: he's gotten revenge. Teyla finds him and he's into Teyla. John and Rodney are into each other. Except Rodney's also secretly into Teyla, and John into Ronon.
kassrachel: er, so to speak.
kassrachel: Eventually they figure out that their collective combined hotness is enough to make the galaxy explode. :-)
     giglet nods happily
terrio: or at least distract the hell out of the bad guys
giglet: And all the boys want to wear Teyla's hat. But she won't let them.
giglet: At least, not unless they are very very good at home.
terrio: though she does let John touch her sticks.

It does need to be written! someone should get right on it! [looks around]
