My favorite Frasers (and Rays)
Mar. 22nd, 2003 08:53 pmI was talking to
laurakaye about Due South characterization the other night, and it seemed like a good LJ topic. So here are the stories that have my favorite characterizations of RayK and Fraser.
Favorite Rays
Knowing Ray from Mia's "Indulgence." I love him for himself alone and not his black leather gloves.
Happy Slut Ray from
cmshaw's Ray/Ray LiveJournal snippets.
Grown-Up Ray from Hth's "The Steadfast Tin Soldier," telling Fraser how to be a father.
Wood-chopping Ray from Denise Raymond's "All the Comforts of Home."
Ray the Angry Clown from Speranza's "Juggling Act."
Ray in eyeshadow arguing with his mother on the phone from Shrift's "Refraction."
Insomniac Ray from Livia's "Sweetness."
Speaker for the Gay Ray from Laura JV's "Un-American."
Desperate Ray from Bone and Mairead Triste's "Unguarded Protectorate."
AU favorite: Celtic prisoner Ray from Viridian's "Ashes and Fire."
Favorite Frasers
Dead Fraser from Speranza's "Beyond Embarrassment."
Diabolical and Nutritious Fraser from Speranza's "Chicago's Most Wanted."
Fraser Half In and Half Out Of a Dress from Speranza's "A Dare's A Dare."
Death Wish Fraser from Speranza's "Scrabble."
Fraser the Therapist's Nightmare from Speranza's "Eight Sessions." Seeing a pattern here? Nobody does Fraser like Speranza does.
Desperate Fraser from Mia's "Fall."
Handcuff Fraser from Kalena's "Into the Wild."
Teen Fraser from Kellie Matthews' "Stealing Light."
-----
About "Transfigurations," an obstacle appears: A week from Monday, we'll be leaving to spend three weeks with my in-laws in California. I can't see any way to get it finished, beta'd, corrected, coded, and posted before we go, and my internet access (not to mention my time and solitude) will be severely curtailed while I'm there.
So expect it on Easter Monday, all spick and span.
