We brought him home today. His name is Barnabas.

P.S. Thanks to all who weighed in on the spraying issue -- obviously you reassured us enough that we decided to go for it.

The name Barnabas was hastily chosen to prevent the kidlet from naming him Shadow. (We were safe from Midnight because they said, "That's a girl's name.")
