I had a request today to beta a Harry/Snape novella for a first-time writer. I'm not up for betaing for someone I don't know in a fandom I'm not in any more. Can anyone rec me a beta community or other resource that I can share with her?

I can't really rec it as such, as I haven't been an active beta reader there for ages, but Perfect Imagination links up writers and beta readers in fandoms including HP: http://www.perfectimagination.co.uk/ There's quite a comprehensive test for the beta readers, so you can be sure the betas know their grammar, at least!
