Podfic! Odd moment!

On my way back from lunch, I saw a guy getting frisked by the side of the road. I've never seen that before in real life. He wasn't wearing a shirt, and I had an odd moment of "I spend a fair bit of time looking at pictures of guys in that position, but that is not what they're doing!"

Hee! My husband's doctor, who is African American, once got the whole "put your hands on the wall and spread your legs" treatment because he protested getting a ticket when he got to his car. Funnily, it was right outside a neighborhood diner with a window, and a bunch of people came rushing out saying, "Leave him alone! He's our doctor!"

That's a great story. Kind of pathetic, but telling.

All I could see of this guy was one bare shoulder -- he wasn't wearing a shirt -- and he was clearly african american and also young.
