Today the spouse arrived, so we're done with the long-distance marriage. At least for the moment; he graduates from seminary two years before the kidlet graduates from high school, so we'll have to figure something out then.
It is very lovely to be sitting on a couch instead of in a folding chair at a folding table. But moving is such a very huge pain in the neck that we're now looking at our stuff and thinking, "Do we really need a couch? Aren't there ways to sit comfortably without being saddled with a giant heavy object that one person can't carry?"
Is there any modular soft-seating option that's as comfy as a couch but breaks down into things that are a more reasonable size? For that matter, what about dining tables? Because we're definitely looking at more moves coming up, and it would be great to start getting rid of stuff now.
