If you've ever watched your favorite dvds, and then found yourself eager to hear exactly what the actors, directors, writers and even production designers thought about making the episode, the movie, or whatever - you'll know sometimes the best parts of dvds are hearing the commentaries. Getting into an actor's feelings about the character they play, getting the background behind a writer's plans and metaphors, even just getting the stupid anecdotal stuff that makes you laugh, it's all good.

Got to come out of Too-Good-For-Your-Stinkin-Meme-Land for this one. If anyone would care to offer me an excuse to thrill to the sound of my own virtual voice request a DVD commentary track to one of my stories, feel free.

N.B.: If it's any earlier than Adorned (i.e. if it's a Sentinel story, "Reel," or "Too Sweet"), then I'm probably not going to have much to offer but an anecdote or two. Whereas with recent stuff, I may even have beta chat logs, for that "director and actors chat about the soundtrack choices" sort of feel.

In other news, I'm dying to talk about Snape and Harry. I'm in #bezoar for a couple of hours, if anybody would like to feed the addiction.

Sixteenth of June, I think, or American Way or A Modest Proposal (Loving North is my favorite, and I'd love to know more of what you were thinking when you wrote that, but maybe it's not long enough to support a DVD commentary?)

Wow, that narrows it down! *g*

The Familiar. Please. The best damn Snape/Harry ever. I just reread it recently and discovered new clevernesses.

I'll second that. It's such a subtle, understated, wonderful story.

I'd vote for "Broadway Hotel", though I'd be interested in any.

i don't actually have a vote on the commentary-track question, since i'll listen to you talk about anything.

at least, i would, if you were ever online when i was online. [sob]!

I'd love to hear you talk about The Familiar, though, nobody's requested Transfigurations. I'd request that, if it's not too much of a hastle for you.

What? We can choose only one per person? May I second two choices? Transfigurations and The Famaliar :)

Me too, me too:)

I really would like to hear about Transfigurations -- and of course anything you might like to say about The Familiar wouldn't go unread either:)

I love this story. I love it more than most things in HP fandom. Anything you have to say about it would be most welcome.
