The only reason I announce it every time I leave town is so all my imaginary internet friends will know when to come and rob my house so no one will wonder why I'm not posting reams and reams of fabulous stories every day, the way I always do when I'm home because I've always wanted to pass as a jetsetter so that when I come home, I'll have a placeholder post in LJ that tells me, "OK, you've read them all, now you're done."

Back in a couple of weeks. Be good, don't take stuff personally, and leave me lots of smut to read when I come home.

I just spent the morning reading through your lovely Harry Potter fic collection, and I'm not even finished yet. I have to add you to my FL because your writings are lovely and make me feel warm and fuzzy whilst making me want to shag the nearest warm body.

Obviously, you're all gone and stuff so you won't see this for a while, but hopefully it will make you smile when you return.
