Feeling wildly creative today, though unfortunately not in a literary sense. I did, however, make the black bean soup from this month's Cook's Illustrated, which is a work of art, not exaggerating one bit.

Then I Photoshopped up all the pages for a calendar of the kidlet's artwork to give the grandparents. Now I'm faced with the difficulty of printing said pages, double-sided and with the right art on the backs of the right pages and facing in the right direction, which for someone with my spatial disabilities is a project not unlike building the Eiffel Tower out of toothpicks; I expect to waste a lot of paper.

Meanwhile, since it's yet another post with no fiction content whatsoever, why not do the song lyrics meme?

Here's how it works.

1. Throw your playlist on shuffle.
2. Pick a line out of the first 20-30 songs with words to pop up (no matter how embarrassing or obscure.) Be sure to write down where they all came from somewhere, so you don't forget.
3. Toss the lines out to your flist, and time wasting fun is had by all!

Some of these are so obvious they're hardly even worth typing, and others are so obscure that I'll be surprised if anyone gets them.
