In lieu of actually working on the Damned Harry/Draco epic, I will now poll you on how I ought to post the damned Harry/Draco epic, should I find myself able to crawl out from under it in the near future. (Plus, you know, to see if I can make a poll that works.)

[Poll #111717]

Man, seriously, don't post it all to a list at once. It's never fun opening up yahoomail to find it screaming "inbox 118% full! delete delete!" because of one person posting an epic. Especially when it's posted to more than one list I'm on. -.-

Of course, I'll just read it when you link it here anyway, so. And I'm looking forward to reading it when it's done. Cos like, everyone says you're all good and stuff, but I have this allergy to Snapefic, so yay! You're writing something I can read! ::dances:: Um, I'll be going now.

1) Having it all in one place online and in one piece is nice and convenient, IMO. (Unless, of course, the site has crazy-making graphics...)

2) A complete story posted in HP is such a rare and wonderful thing that I'm just beside myself with anticipation. Please buck the system and post it all at once! Who knows, you might set an example!!

Ahem, sorry, feeling a bit selfish tonight!

Just post it to your website, so reading and enjoying the story has nothing to do with clearing out your inbox. Image Also, posted on your website, you have much greater control of graphics, colors, fonts, backgrounds, and good things like that.

Btw, when you post it on your website, please please please post it one chapter at a time. There's nothing worse than 300 pages all on one webpage, for the psyche as much as the loading time.

I look forward to seeing the link!

I like to have it on one page because often I'll save it for travel or something.

A lot of people post stories in two formats: split up for easy online reading, and all in one piece for easy downloading. If webspace is a concern, you could post the long one in .txt or .rtf format and cut down on space a little.

I prefer one big file, myself, so I can easily download for offline reading, without worrying I missed a chapter.

In the interests of sparing mailboxes, perhaps you could post it over the course of 2 or 3 days? How many chapters is it, anyway? I mean, I don't want to sit around for 2 weeks waiting for the whole thing to show up. *wink* I'm not much good at delayed gratification.
