First, I can't remember whether I ever thanked [livejournal.com profile] countess7 and an anonymous donor for the gift of extra icon space. This is because I'm baffled and forgetful, not because I'm an ingrate, seriously, and it allowed me to reupload some of my favorite old icons, like this one from [livejournal.com profile] darthfox.

Second, I generally assume that everyone will friend or unfriend at will, but if you need Unfriending Amnesty, you've got it. I won't take it personally if our interests have diverged enough that you want to take me off your friends list. (Though the Christmas music posts are over, so if that was all that was bugging you, you won't need to worry about it till next November.)

And of course you can always add me at any time without feeling the need to explain yourself, though if you want us to have a talking relationship you'll have to leave the kind of comment that demands an answer, since, as I mentioned above, I'm baffled and forgetful.

*waves* Howdy, I'm adding you. Why? Well because I can't believe I hadn't already and you are the *cue dramatic music, possible by Howard Shore* Mistaken For Canon One. ;>

I'm pretty sure we'll never end up having a talking relationship then, since I am also baffled and forgetful ;)

Damn. I thought I was 'baffled-and-forgetful'. If you're 'baffled-and-forgetful', who the heck am I? Hmmm, has anyone claimed 'bashful-and-sneezy' yet?

Hm, so I'm going to friend you now. :) Because aside from the fact that I admire your writing I could kick myself that I missed your christmas music posts. *le sigh*

Even though I always rather feel like I'm intruding.
Stupid, I know. That's what 'friends-lock', 'private' and 'filtered' are there for after all. :)

And because I never left feedback (bad me): Transfiguration, Housekeeping, American Way and Broadway Hotel are often re-read all time favourites. *G*

Well, I've already added you without explaining myself. This is 'cambium', but that name was already taken on LJ, hence the new appellation. I've long been a fan of your writing, and sent you fanart eons ago. I greatly enjoy your LJ as a resource for writing (and Christmas carols, it seems), and to hear about your madcap shenanigans. All the best to you and your family in the New Year.

You mean that horrible feeling of "I'm so sorry to be snooping around in your private life and barging in on your private conversation", which never really goes away despite the fact that if people really wanted their life and conversations to stay private, they probably wouldn't post them on the net? I think a surprising lot of people are a bit stupid that way. I know I am.

Hey, anybody who comes with feedback is never unwelcome.

And maybe by the time it's time for Christmas music next year I will have figured out the whole upload thing to the point where I can put them up on my own instead of having to rely on YouSendIt. (I'm not offering to re-up because it would take forever, but I'd be happy to send you a CD if you wanted to share your address -- I'm at resonant8(at)att(dot)net.)

Well, hi there! I wish LJ icons came with footnotes so it was easier to keep up with people who couldn't get the name they had been using. Happy New Year to you too!

*lol* Yes, that's exactly the feeling I was talking about.

Plus, if you don't really have a lot to say you feel like a stalker. *d'oh*

And of course, if English is not your first language you're always afraid of making some stupid mistake.

Lj is so complicated. ;)

Yes, gosh up-loading on ysi takes hours.

Thank you for offering to send a CD but as I'm not in the States it wouldn't be worth the trouble. And christmas is over anyway. :)

I've also already purchased two Maddy Prior CDs.

(Yay for old musick *g*)

um, not really a random friending type of person, but i just read your most excellent bender/brian story on your website, and... hot damn, that's good slash that. there was no review place though, so i had to come here. :-) thanks for letting me escape from the HP madness for once. you can only read so much ron/harry... oh, and your details about chicago are spot on, nice.

I'm glad you liked it! I was as surprised as anyone to find myself writing Breakfast Club slash.

:-) A genre that should be explored more, but not too much so it gets stereotypical.

I especially liked how you didn't make them girly or make Bender too much of a thinker, because he really isn't.
