Hee -- you know Ron would be a really unwieldy armful in bed. Not that anyone would complain.
if I could just write you a grant to give me these little things all day, I would
I could very easily write one every single day -- they're like stretching exercises for me -- but (1) I want everyone to continue to have patience with me, and (2) eventually I'm sure I'd run out of ideas ... at least I think I would ... and (3) no one will give me any money for them.
If anyone stumbles across a paying market for 200-500 words of porn, I sure wish they'd let me know, because I'll flood the damned market.
The bed's smallish for one and much too small for two, and Ron seems to have about twenty knees. He's almost dizzy with the perfection of it, and they haven't even touched yet. :dies right there and then:
I just. I can't stop grinning. It's Ron and it's Harry and it's just so right. Thank you!
This gets to be the first fic onto my shiny new Palm. I'll be grinning all the way through lectures when uni starts. Not that I'll be reading fic in lectures. Honest. :shifty look:
Man, I LOVE it when you write this pairing. This is just so sweet, and I love the way it ties into the Burrow. Or the way the Burrow ties into Ron. <3!
Eee! That was so lovely! I love the bit of Harry being overwhelmed with all the activity at the Burrow - the sensory overload after staring at his bedroom walls in Privet Drive really comes out clearly. But why are your smutlets so beautiful yet so short? I keep wanting them to go on...
But why are your smutlets so beautiful yet so short? I keep wanting them to go on...
Yeah -- I'm afraid they're a poor substitute for an actual story. They're just "as much smut as I can write in twenty minutes," so there's no sort of development happening there.
I just deleted my earlier comment because I'm an idiot and my vocabulary is somehow off today. I'm going to try again:
You do write a lovely Harry/Ron. Usually the idea of that pairing makes me shiver, because it just leaves me cold. I did shiver when I read yours, but for a completely different reason -- this was hot, and moving, and *shiver* -- see, it happened again!
Oh gods, this was fantastic, the connection between Harry and Ron is so completely hypnotic, their need for each other is so sharp and clear. gorgeous, guh, I loved it so much.
I'm sorry but I've been remiss with feedback - not that you would have noticed, because I haven't sent any! But I'm determined to do something about that now.
I love your writing. I found you first in HP, and then was thrilled to find you writing Due South.
I don't have anything particularly learned to say, just that I haven't read anything of yours that I don't like. Your imagery is breathtaking and your quiet, understated delivery packs a serious emotional punch. "The Familiar" is one the most exquisite stories I've read. I have it printed out, laminated and mounted for goodness sake! I got prompted to write to you - finally - by your gorgeous snippet 'Languor'. 'Transfigurations' is another story that I've read at least three times. I find that I can come back to your stories and be moved by them again and again, even though I know them through and through from repeated reading.
So thank you for such wonderful work and for sharing it with us, you've given me many hours of pleasure.
There's so much that is right and perfect and so beautifully canon about this piece and I love it. Adore it. All the small perfect details float around and that line -
