This story was inspired by a line in kageygirl's Opposition of the Stars, where Rodney says, "Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Warning next time, thank you."

Other than the inspiration, this one has nothing in common with kagey's story. Hers is poignant; mine is more just sort of porngnant.

Yes, I am totally susceptible to word porn -- if someone offered me the choice between an actual filmed ep with R-rated Rodney/John in it, or a really good novel-length story with the same, I would definitely choose the story.

I love how Rodney's approaching this as a puzzle to solve, creating and testing hypotheses, staying relatively calm even as he drives John to distraction.

"Oh my god. Oh my god," he panted as John gentled his mouth. "Oh my god. I don't believe you did that." The hand he stroked over John's head was not quite steady. "You really did just do that? I didn't just imagine you doing that?"

Until John turns the tables on him because Rodney really hasn't considered one obvious possibility, i.e., that part of what's arousing John is Rodney himself.

I am amazingly glad that we ended up in the same fandom at the same time. Finally all my good fannish karma pays off!

If you write things like -- John hastily raised his arms over his head -- I end up like a lil teenie and have to admit having a real crush on Joe! What are you doing to me! I am going to get soooo tiresome saying this too often, but the characterisations make this all so very very rewarding and yummy.

"You might be surprised how little of my attitude is based on confidence that I can make John Sheppard come," Rodney said breathlessly. "Or was up until now."
Three different stories told in one sentence and how come I am satisfied yet cannot get enough i.e. can't get no satisfaction, mmmmmmmmmng.

"Do you want to tell me what to do?" John said, running just his lips up Rodney's cock and down again. "Be just like every day."
There you go again. Each of them first gets to seem just snarky and goofy, then the sexy middle, and then the strength they actually have sets it in a different light.
