But I suspect John would find it restful. In fact, I can see him letting Rodney get closer to him than anyone else ever has; it would feel safer, because Rodney would never push.

Previous Lover: Really? Wow, that explains so much about you. So was this before or after ... and then you must have felt like ... wow, have you ever considered therapy, because that's really ...
John: [hastily throws on clothes] Gotta go. I'll call you. Maybe.
John: [deep, extremely personal revelation]
Rodney: Hm? Oh, I'm sure it was. Say, could you put some lotion on my back? It itches.
John: Sure.
