Every now and then, my technologically challenged friend Ptom sends me a list of songs and asks me to track them down and put them on a CD for him. This time there are several that I can't find at either Amazon or iTunes. Does anyone have:

- Why—Wednesday Week

- Pouring Water on a Drowning Man—James Carr
- Baby, It’s You—Elvis Costello & Nick Lowe (I can find reference to this as part of a medley, but I can't find it alone, nor can I find a place that has the medley available for download)
- Crash—The Primitives
- Back in Time—Graham Parker
- My Path Belated—Camper Van Beethoven

Thanks!

Crash (right-click and save).

I don't have any of the others, but I swear I've heard the "Back in Time" one before... Good luck!

Oh, thanks so much!

I keep mistaking that "Back In Time" for the one from "Back To the Future," but it's not the same song.

You're welcome! And yeah, that might be what I'm thinking of.

I've got "Baby It's You," "Back in Time," and "My Path Belated." I've zipped them up together here:

You're most welcome! "Baby It's You" -- my version, if there's more than one -- can be found on Goodbye Cruel World, btw.

I have the James Carr--let me just rip it for you.

Ok, here it is:

I love James Carr, all sort of despairing and on the edge.
Ace Atkins wrote an interesting mystery novel that is kind of about him; I think it's called The Dark End of the Street.

Thank you so much -- I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find that one. Honestly, until Ptom requested the song, I'd never heard of James Carr -- sounds like I've been missing something!
