I have a weird affection for Garth's "Papa Loved Mama," but otherwise I'm not a fan, and Toby Keith is an automatic-change-the-station for me.

But what do you want to bet that Toby Keith is the next NRA president?

Interestingly enough, Toby Keith is a card carrying Democrat who has come out publically in support of the troops but against the war. This came as a great surprise to the Republicans who asked him to endorse their candidate. According to the report he "said something rather rude". Rudness! Gasp! The Canadian interviewer was apalled. *g*

Wow. That shocks me. From what I know of his music, I seriously expected him to be the sort of person who'd be down there helping mortar up that wall around the Mexican border.

My father has an unhealthy obsession with Garth's music. I have never been able to stomach it myself *G*.

And as for Toby, icky. The whole NRA thing amuses me a lot though.
