When I was a kid, I loved those books. I recently went into the kid's section of the library and found those books again and reread them and they were even better than I remembered.
This is the kind of fic that doesn't warp my childhood memories but makes them even better. It's like the characters are growing up and discovering...things...along with me.

Oh, good. I couldn't write, like, Pippi Is A Dominatrix or something (though, actually, now that I think of it, that's scarily plausible) -- but nice friendly sex seems like one logical conclusion of the books.
