Saw this gif from "Air Force One Is Down" -- know nothing about the canon -- but it makes me badly want Rupert Graves as Sam Vimes/John Keel in a film of Terry Pratchett's Night Watch.

I haven't seen any of the films, so Charles Dance is a mystery to me, though he looks good in stills.

In my head I always see (and hear!) the Patrician as Alan Rickman, of course.

There was one with Jeremy Irons as the Patrician and he was strangely terrible. Charles Dance plays the Patrician basically the same as Tywin Lannister, so.
