First day

The first-day-at-new-company experience -- the one where you don't know where to find a pen and you get lost on the way back from the restroom and have to ask a random passing stranger in a striped polo shirt to lead you back to "the desk across from the guy with the three-foot Darth Vader" -- having to deal with that twice in one year is a little much.

On the other hand, a three-foot Darth Vader is an excellent sign. And my trainer told me she keeps her passwords company-compliant by always using registration numbers from Star Trek vessels.

I'll be able to tell more when my brain doesn't feel like cream cheese.

Whooo! I had missed the great news about the new job being finalized, but the addition of 3 foot tall Darth Vader at the workplace makes it AWESOME NEWS. ;)

This company sounds extraordinary. 3 foot Darth Vader! Actually, being metric I initially read this as 3-meter Darth Vader which was even more extraordinary...
