And isn’t that somehow a depressing thought. I mean, I get that new fans go through similar things we did back then, but it isn’t cheering to think that the same bad ideas get recycled... one the one hand, yes different people find different things hot, but this top/bottom thing seems to spring from limited imaginations (which, okay, mine got slowly expanded through fandom so there’s hope yet....)
