Writer's Sketchbook Challenge

mific has done an amazing thing and loaded a bunch of prompts into an Excel spreadsheet with a randomizer button!

Here it is.

This is a loose and shaggy challenge.

There are 28 prompts and 28 "in the style of" options. You can download it and hit the randomizer button (if you have a PC with Excel on it), or download it and just read the prompts and choose one (if you have any other kind of computer), or use a random number generator, or whatever you want. Once you see the kind of thing we're working with here, you can also come up with your own prompts, if you'd rather.

Write one sentence! Write three paragraphs! Write a whole story! Write something in your current fandom! Write something that has no fandom!
