1. First Name: Nope, we don't do this on the internet. I will tell you that I have one of the classic Millennial names (albeit with a slightly creativ spelling) which means that when I'm in online spaces where wallet names are used, I'm occasionally subjected to the condescension or attention-begging that passes for flirting from guys young enough to be my children.


2. Age: I'll be 58 in May.


3. Location: U.S. Midwest. A purple city in a rather red state.


4. Occupation: IT-adjacent. Contracts are involved. Too many spreadsheets, not enough writing.


5. Significant Other: Known in this space as The Spouse. Very creative, very absent-minded. He and I have been together since the first Reagan administration. We have a commuter marriage and live about an hour apart. It seemed like a good idea at the time.


6. Kids: One adult fannish type known hereabouts as The Kidlet or terminally_underwhelmed.


7. Siblings: One younger brother.


8. Pets: Two cats, one here and one at the spousehouse.


9. List the 3 biggest things going on in your life:
   
   
   
   • The kidlet just moved back in with me, which is lovely but involves more podcasts than I expected.
   
   
   • My company recently got spun off from its comfy place as a department of a much bigger company, which means I'm doing exactly the same tasks with exactly the same people but my job security is much less than it was.
   
   
   • Trying to reinvolve myself in fandom after a hiatus of [counts on fingers] wow, eight years, so if you left me a comment on AO3 in like 2014 don't be shocked to get a sheepish reply.
   
   
   
   
10. Where and for what did you go to school? I studied journalism, which shows a certain lack of self-knowledge for an introvert who hates having people mad at her.
    
11. Parents: Dad died in 2014. Mom is still living, gardening, and birdwatching down south in my hometown, but her health and memory are a bit of a concern.
    
12. Who are some of your closest friends? My best friend has been my best friend since 1991! I used to call her the Tech Goddess, but that no longer seems apt somehow. Fannish pals are too many to name, but I rarely meet anyone in person except at WisCon.
