More on wishlist
Nov. 24th, 2004 08:46 pmI love this wishlist thing. Not only am I being showered with music and the promises of paperback books, but I get to see what everyone else wants, and whether I already have any of it and can clear it out of my house!
I wish more people would actually ask for ten things, as opposed to "world peace and a date," because it's fun to send people things. It would probably be even more fun if I had the money to actually go out and buy things.
Everybody put your wishlist in your memories, and update it every now and then, because when I either get a job or sell a book, I'm going to buy, like, a hundred $5 iTunes gift certificates and send them to everybody in North America.
On another note, though, is anybody else having trouble with yousendit? Every time I try to download a song, it gives me 5MB of it (which is not a small time commitment on dial-up) and then goes, "Beep. I'm done." Maybe it has to do with the twelve pounds of big old wet snow!!! that has piled up on every surface, including the phone cables. Maybe I'll wait until tomorrow.

Date: 11/25/04 10:08 pm (UTC)You could always get someone else to download the song, email it to you, and then try from there. Just a thought: it might not work. I'm no computer whiz.
Who came up with the whole wishlist thing, anyhoo?
