Romantic spam
May. 23rd, 2003 08:57 pmI get an awful lot of porn spam (including dozens of copies of that unspeakably horrible one about the war rapes in Iraq), but today's was unusually odd. "She's drunk and in love, and we captured it all on film."
In love? Do you get extra porn points for that, like having large breasts and low inhibitions? Is there some hitherto untapped market for sincere porn?

War rape porn? Tell me you're kidding. What's next? Footage of Nanking?

Date: 5/30/03 08:29 pm (UTC)How I wish that I were. No, it was really vile, not just because it was war rape porn, but because the subject lines would say things like, "Watch Iraqi whores get punished for resisting!"
It was ... American foreign policy rhetoric translated into the baldest possible terms, actually. Maybe it would be possible to come up with a measure of Leading Spam Indicators as a barometer of the country's mental health.
I hear Canada's a nice place.
