or, It's Difficult To Read When Your Mind Is Boggled.

"May as well justify my reputation for posting unbeta'd fic. *shrugs* [...] May not appeal to anyone else, but it satisfied my warped little craving. Oh, I may as well mention. The plot there is... is silly. Gimme a break, it's just an excuse for the sex."

-----

Yeah, well. This seemed like a cute idea at the time, but I totally lost interest toward the end. Eh. Fuck that shit. I need to find some more porn.

-----

If you have never ventured into the BDSM world, your poor little vanilla mind won't be able to comprehend it, so I won't even try to explain it further. [...] Also, I must mention that I do NOT approve of, or condone Masters/Mistresses killing their subs/slaves. It is NOT a common, ethical, or legal practice in the BDSM community. Please remember that fiction is fiction, and we are not our stories.

-----

Huge "thank 'oo's" to my reviewers, you make my day! More, please - they give me inspiration :)

The slash starts here. And as for how - well, it's a bit contrived. But, well, it's also cute :D

-----

its a Trio meet the future type thing. This is a future where Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy get married and do the Mpreg thing and all that during a war...im thinking about writting a prequel if it's interesting sounding enough.

-----

*...* represents emphasis, //...// represents [character]'s thoughts and {...} represents [other character]'s thoughts. Warnings: Vaguely pouty![other character] at times.

-----

I wrote a Fic along these lines, actually identical almost, for Fanfiction.net before they took the [other fandom] section away. Therefore, in this fic, the HP guys are not really in their world, but not really not either. And I know that [character] is out of character. I know.

-----

and the ultimate author's note, which really says it all:

------

I make no appologies.

Where do you find this stuff? Or is HP awash with it??

It is mostly HP. I think it's not so much that other fandoms have fewer bad stories -- it's just that other fandoms have different (stricter) conventions about what you put in a story note and what you don't.

Or, when in doubt, blame fanfiction.net.

AND, i would imagine, HP fans in general are young.

when i was involved in GW, i was, at 33 years old, almost 15 years older than the rest of the fen, i kid you not. and i see a lot of similarity between badfic!GW and badfic!HP and what the average 13 year-old turns in for an english essay.

you know: insecurity in general about writing ability, odd and frequent unmatched transitions, sex scenes based on things heard or only vaguely understood. . .

He shuttered as he grabbed Heero's rear. He thrusted twice and fired, a groan falling from him. Heero moaned and touched the floor. /I need to sweep more/ he thought.

Now that sounds like someone who is not a native speaker. Or perhaps not a native of Earth.

I once encountered this gem in a GW story (yes, I kept it; otherwise no one would believe me if I paraphrased):

the tip of Heero's tongue ran a shivering spiral along ridges and valleys, ending pressed against Duo's eardrum.

You two are making me regret stopping after the first 3 lines of a GW story when it is this badly written (hey, there is plenty more where that came from...). I'm missing out on all this comic relief!

Actually, on reflection, I realize that I really *don't* want to go there.

Yick.

WHERE?

I must see this to believe it. (Not read it. Cannot read MPreg to save my life, I'd die in the reading. But must see it.)

I mean, I'm already discovering that I have difficulty with happy threesome PotC stories because I'm always anxious about Elizabeth getting pregnant.

Thank god we cleared that up. I used to have all sorts of questions about the ethicality and legality of murder.

Dear God! I don't know where you're finding these, but I'd like to think you have to dig a little to turn them up. Please don't tell me if I'm wrong.

I wonder if that BDSM story author ever heard the expression "safe, sane and consensual". Apparently that takes all the fun out of it for her. ;)

I've read that one. It was extremely odd, and dark, but not really terrible. (Okay, well, very dark.)

look! now i'm finding them, and dropping them on your lj doorstep, much like a cat will with mouse viscera. ^__^

I think this is AU because I am pretty sure Jim wouldn't go for the idea of pets but I haven't seen all of the episodes yet so I could be wrong.

I think this could be described as pre-slash.

I make no appologies.

This is really quite Zen in its apologies.

I rather admire the person who skipped apologising in the author's notes, and just wrote in their ff.net profile:

I'm not a very good writer. Please don't hurt me.
