Stockings. Shit.

The Tech Goddess claims she forgot my birthday last year. So instead of waiting five weeks for this year's birthday to come around, she gave me last year's present today: a "magical talking Hermione" doll.

And, oh, christ, it was bad enough to have a disturbing interest in British schoolboys.

But ... she's got on stockings. Not tights. Thick, white, ribbed, cotton stockings.

She has these adorable little plump legs. And she's got a big nose. And freckles. And oh my lord, those stockings.

I suppose there's probably a technical reason for her not to be wearing tights. Maybe something to do with the battery access panel on her lower back.

Unless thigh-high white cotton stockings are a typical part of a British schoolgirl uniform. In which case it would probably be better for my soul if you didn't tell me so.

Oh, but if they're knee-high, they're socks, which are very right and proper for schoolgirls to wear. If they're thigh-high they're stockings, and schoolgirls should avoid them so as not to crank up the perv in women three times their age.
