I've never really understood writing out the Czech -- I mean, if neither the writer nor the reader knows the language, then what's the point? (Plus, of course, in Rodney's world, words he can't understand aren't actually words at all.)

I was hooked from the dialogue alone in the first scene! You give fantastic voice to the characters. Zelenka is so much more complete from how you've drawn him. Very enjoyable read.

Oh, I'm so glad! We don't get to hear Zelenka talk very much (Rodney doesn't let him get a word in edgewise), but he's smart and witty and has a poetic streak, and what makes him the most fun to work with is that he's not intimidated by Rodney at all.

I LOVE SEX GOD RADEK! I hearts him like whoa, and now I want to write him some more. So hot, yet so real, and full of what I love about good Rodney/Radek stories--their easy companionability (if that's a word, and I don't think it is), the way they fit together and reflect off each other, perfect foils. That is sooooo sweet and hot! I'm generally cautious about Zelenka in fic, but I find this rendition utterly credible and, yes, smouldering. I like that Rodney was completely wrong-footed by it, and the way he picked up the theory and ran, and the general self-congratulatory editorialising that he can't resist.

And it's *comfortable* between them. Which is delightful and warming.

And I *love* the idea of sex-god-ness being transmissable. Eventually everyone on Atlantis will be a sex-god, yay!

I love that comradeship and liking roll up with Zelenka's mastery of technique and generosity in bed to result in mindblowing intense sex, with it still being companiable and relaxed afterwards. And, oh, yes, I adore the idea of Rodney initiating Ronon into the Way Of The Radek! (And as a side bonus, the non-OTP-ness of the encounter leaves my tin hat shiny.)

And I love the early irritation Rodney feels at what he sees as Zelenka's over-ostentatious presentation of his refugee status - especially the stuff under the bed - and also his view of John's room as stage dressing!

not even my fandom; here on a rec by paian, and i loved this. i loved the unexpected surprise; how it's not about teh hot movie star hotness, but about giving pleasure and above all paying attention, and i love the idea of radek's lover raising the bar for everyone, like the good kind of Thing Sexually Transmitted.
