Wizard ages
Sep. 5th, 2002 08:42 amMona had a comment about trying to keep ten-year-old Harry out of your head when you're reading HP slash. As I was responding to it, I got to wondering about age in the HP wizarding world.
If wizards can live for more than a century (Dumbledore's close to 150, isn't he?), then it stands to reason that they'd experience age a little differently -- but differently how, exactly?
In terms of romantic relationships, I can see it going two ways:
1: Really, the places I've been, the things I've seen ... a person under 30 is a mere infant, not nearly old enough to interest me in any way.
Or ...
2. What's half a century between friends?
