Kitten poll

resonantYesterday the kidlet was begging me for a kitten. (Actually the kidlet was begging me for two kittens, plus another grown cat, but we won't address that.)
I said what I always say about cats: "First, I don't know how well our poor humble kitty would adapt to having another feline in the house. Second, I refuse to have a cat declawed, and I'd be worried about damage to the furniture and/or carpet. And finally, we don't have to go out looking for a cat. When the universe wants us to have a cat, the universe will provide one."
Today, the manager of my coffee shop is trying to get rid of a litter of kittens.
So what do you think?
