Still trying to avoid reading Harry/Draco stories until I've finished the one I'm writing. Finding it increasingly difficult. Have sucked dry all the Snape stories I could find.

Anybody want to rec me some good Harry/Ron? Percyfic? Anything? Please?

How do you feel about WiPs?

Harry/Ron is not very impressive in general.

Confection Carnage by Aspen is good smut.

Lacking of foresight is good and long but a WiP

And rhoddlet has written some nice H/R shorts, posted in her lj, I'll see if I can dig them up.

And well, you can try my H/R too if you're not too picky.

Ha haha! I have already recced your fic. You are too late!

Here are some of Rhod's H/R ficlets:

And this one is just Ron, sort of.

Oh, I loved "His Belongings." I should have known you were one of the people I was being scummy about not writing feedback to. The thing about the shapes of the elbows ... mmm.

Will check out the rest.

*shakes fist at Tradescant*

Well, I'm glad you liked it. I love Ron though almost nobody else does, in this fandom of Malfoys.

I'm still trying to get a handle on Ron. If you'd care to share your insights into his character, I'd love to read them. It's a constant struggle for me to write him in such a way that he doesn't sound just like Harry except for the word "reckon."

In this fandom I sort of have to tolerate them, don't I, if I want to read anything whatsoever.

And with that ringing endorsement... :)

I like Vali's Switch (http://www.certando.net/vali/switch.htm). I also recommend the very promising first four chapters of a headlong Harry/Ron smut by an author named Anna, titled Moving Pictures (http://www.witchfics.org/anna/movingpictures/index.html).

You may have/probably already have read them both. But other than that, I got nothin'. Did you find any good Snape stuff in your own peregrinations? Any recs?

Snape recs

Both of those are new to me. I'll check them out.

Hm. Probably nothing everyone else hasn't already recced. In my keeper file I find these Snape stories that I've loved and would wholeheartedly* recommend. Heavily weighted toward explicit slash, since that's what I like best:

[livejournal.com profile] tradescant: Fidelius. (http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=915359) Harry/Snape, very moving and sad. She says she's working on a sequel, yay!

[livejournal.com profile] predatrix: Occasional Table. (http://predatrix.slashcity.org/fiction/occtable.htm) Harry/Snape, hilarious and very original.

[livejournal.com profile] ailei: Firefly. (http://www.sockiipress.org/~luthien/snapeff/archive/firefly.html) Snape/Ollivander, but don't run screaming; it really works.

[livejournal.com profile] lexin: Through a Glass Darkly. You can find her HP page through this link. (http://www.redrosepress.co.uk/potter.htm) This is the all-boy Hogwarts AU, and it's very very different, not to mention unfinished and unresolved. But I love it.

Dorcas: Perspective. (http://remembrall.slashcity.net/moonshadow/perspective.html) Snape/Lupin, established-relationship. This one may not do it for you unless, like me, you have a real kink for talking during sex.

Seeker: Potio. (http://www.angelfire.com/ego/vigilantgriffin/snape/fiction/seeker-potio.html) Snape/Lockhart, and once again, don't run screaming, because it's beautiful.

[livejournal.com profile] cybele_san: Something To Write On (http://www.chibihanna.net/psa/hother/somethingwrite.html) and its sequel, Quill and Ink. (http://www.chibihanna.net/psa/hother/quillink.html) Harry/Snape, magic!smut of the purest and most potent variety.

[livejournal.com profile] kay_taylor: By the Rivers Dark. (http://vigilantgriffin.net/kay/fiction/bytheriversdark.html) Snape/Black, sad and sweet.

[livejournal.com profile] ellen_fremedon: Slowly But Exceeding Fine. (http://www.geocities.com/ellen_fremedon/Slowly.html) Snape/Black, long, involved, extremely moving.

Please don't ask me which of these authors I've actually sent feedback to, or I'll have to do a Dobby and slam my ears in the oven.

E-mail me if you want a list of stories I would half-heartedly recomend.
