Because we all need a hyooge story in a semi-non-existent fandom to make our day complete.

I'm so glad you liked it! And especially glad the Bender changes worked for you.

The movie was a big part of my college years, and it actually held up quite well when I rented it for research. And it truly is slashy as hell.

I was in the middle of high school when I saw "The Breakfast Club" and slash--as defined by media fandom--was not in my vocabulary. That would come 15 years later. Plus, there was my naivete. I mean, geez, it never occured to me that George Michael might be gay despite seeing him prance around in short shorts and white gloves. Ah, the innocence of my youth.

Hee! I remember listening to Frankie Goes To Hollywood's "Relax" and thinking, "Well, but of course when he says 'come,' he doesn't mean, like, come, right? I'm sure he's talking about something entirely different."

I am actually embarrassed to admit how long it took me to understand the true message of "Relax." Let's just say that it wasn't that long ago. And it had to be pointed out to me!
