Crossing fingers
Feb. 17th, 2003 02:27 pmI hope I don't jinx myself, but I think I'm closing in on "Transfigurations" (a.k.a. the Damned H/D Epic).
I'm closer to a full draft than I've ever been -- and even though I have sections which consist only of notes (**fuck and then immediately fight**), at least they're all in the right places for a change.
And if I wasn't permitted to hear "This problem could be solved by making the story shorter," at least I got to hear the next-best thing: "This problem could be solved by adding more sex."

Any solution which involves more sex is one I can't help but favor. Even if you are writing a pairing I'd ordinarily flee from. :-)

Date: 2/17/03 01:18 pm (UTC)I've already sacrificed Harry speaking Spanish to the chupacabras (unless I can find a way to sneak that back in), not to mention a visit to Florida, a quick trip through the Oasis (the wizarding neighborhood of Manchester), Sasquatch sign language, and a farting charm. Surely this proves my willingness to do whatever I have to do to get the damned thing done.

i'm looking forward to reading that, i think. The Familiar was brilliant and...well...while I've never quite believed h/d was possible, I think you have the talent to pull it off.
Hm. wow. Congratulations.
