and we're all people like me

My friendslist has come through with lots of information on allergy shots and getting rid of mold and dust mites. I had no idea that so many people in slash-land had allergy problems. I'm going to have to update my concept of the Stereotypical Slasher: Intelligent, imaginative, bisexual, introverted, somewhat perverted, myopic female with a small tattoo and non-functioning sinuses.

(and dust-mite-wise, too -- i'm also in favor of the special non-allergenic bedding and the nifty vacuum bags.) mold-wise, the only real danger spots for me are likely to be the bathroom and, like, under the fridge, and the thing there is just not to let things stay damp.
re: shots -- like someone said (i should have kept track of names), it's totally important that the people administering the shots keep track of the dosage each time. at my student health, they show me the vial with my name on it, and they show me the syringe with the serum loaded into it, before they even pull the syringe out of the vial, but maybe i'm spoiled. in any event, you already know how i feel about how the shots have changed my life, so i won't go into all that again. :-)
